Edgemont Mid Century Coastal Renovation

This beautiful 70's tudor style home was in need of a modern update. While focusing on the function the family needed, we brought in beautiful mid century modern and coastal design elements to make the space their own.

Light and bright living room inspiration

Starting in the mudroom/laundry room, we needed a lot of functional storage! Custom cabinetry in a soft greige created a beautiful backdrop for daily function for the whole family. Coat storage, shoe storage, laundry and cleaning supplies all needed a home. The pop of colour and bold contrasting floor tile create some fun personality for this growing family!

The ensuite and walk in closet were our next areas to tackle. Dated and lacking store, we needed to give these spaces a fresh coastal upgrade! The teal walls, white custom closet built-ins and layout change provided a much more functional storage space. The black accents, new pot lights and toe kick lighting all created a beautiful aesthetic in this refreshed closet.

The ensuite was lacking a good layout and sufficient storage. We went from a large jetted tub, single vanity and tight corner shower to a custom double vanity and wet room style tub and shower. Modern coastal luxury! This spa like bathroom includes marble look tile, brushed nickel plumbing fixtures, oval mirrors, wall sconces and black hardware for the perfect balance of function and beauty.
